Description: Zoning case .i am extremely concerned with a house being constructed in our neighborhood at 1336 lanier boulevard, 30306, under construction by thrive contractors. it is my understanding that there are calculations as to how much permeable surface must remain on a lot, and that the square footage of the home cannot surpass 50% of the size of the lot. there have been many changes to this home after the initial construction began, including the addition of a 2 story car port in the middle of the back yard, a major change in the driveway that has removed the entire front yard and replaced it with a winding concrete and brick driveway, and the addition of a massive back porch, rendering the entire back yard of the house non-existent. i am wondering how it was possible for this company to cover this small, in-town lot with a structure of this size, how the plans made it through city review, and how the contractor seems to be able to change the structure with absolute no regard to permeable surface of the lot? are you the correct person to look into their permitting, the calculations of the home and the code enforcement? thank you daniel bowers a concerned neighbor.
