Description: Tue 02/17/2015 2:13 pm description of complaint: i wish to remain anonymous, but you can contact me via email if you need to. i rented a condominium from carmen figueroa that illegally cut a stairway from the condominium into an attached garage below. they rented me the condominium and then attempted to live in the garage. when i complained when i realized they were living in the garage and operating an unlicensed business in the garage, they retaliated against me by cutting off utilities forcing me to move out. i have not seen the inside of the garage, but believe they also illegally added plumbing to the garage as well as electric. they never obtained any permits and this would be an illegal conversion regardless. also, my lease was short term; i do not believe they have ever paid the proper tax for this; not only on my lease but on previous occupants as well. supporting file or photo: 20140826 164159.jpg submitter's contact preference: i wish to be contacted about this complaint. email address: [email protected]
