Description: Mpa - mountain view community church mountain view community church, mup 95-007 1191 meadowlark way apn 280-041-22, 280-041-43 mup modification project description existing facilities include a fellowship hall (11,940 s.f.) and an education building (5,234 s.f.). two access points are provided from meadowlark way. 155 parking spaces are currently provided with additional unpaved parking areas for overflow. existing septic fields are located behind the fellowship hall and education building. the mup modification consists of four distinct phases of development: phase 1: consists of the construction of a bridge between the existing fellowship and education buildings. phase 2: consists of the construction of a 35,512 s.f. sanctuary building to the south of the existing education building. the two-story building (35 in height) includes an assembly area with 1,200 fixed seats, offices and educational space. parking areas shall be reconfigured and a total of 372 parking spaces shall be provided. an additional driveway shall be constructed to meadowlark way and will include monumentation signage for the church. in the parking lot area, one of the parking islands will serve as a bioretention basin (basin #1). a second bioretention basin (basin #2) is proposed for the island adjacent to the additional driveway. this phase includes the construction of advanced wastewater treatment plant in the northwest quadrant of the property. a jet package wastewater treatment plant is being considered at this time. phase 3: consists of the construction of a two-story 9,924 s.f. education building (building 1) to the east of the existing fellowship hall. total site parking will be 427 spaces. an additional bioretention basin (basin #3) shall be added to the parking area as a square island. phase 4: construction of a two-story 9,924 s.f. education building (building 2). parking will be shifted from this area to the southwest additional parking shall be provided in the southeast corner of the site, increasing onsite parking spaces to 480. an additional bioretention basin (basin #4) will be added as a square island to this extension of the parking area. sewer / alternative septic system: if sanitary sewer hook-up proves to be prohibitive then the project will rely on an advanced wastewater treatment plant and the project team will work with the regional water board directly to obtain a waste discharge permit. if this is not feasible, additional land shall be purchased on an adjacent property for additional septic area. no offsite impacts are proposed at this time.
